Rag Prints

A trunk of oil-paint-soaked rags was presenting a riddle for the researchers of the Florence legacy. Why would she have kept these? Recently however, amidst her drawing pads and piles of sketches, textile imprints were found suggesting that she soaked these with oil-paint and pressed the saturated textiles between layers of paper and against the wallpapered walls in her room in Milwaukee.
