Painted Clothes

Amongst Florence’s personal belongings are disassembled dresses that she turned inside-out and painted on. She applied the paint in several layers: first she set a more or less monochromatic background,  then she added a pattern of body-forms of a mostly flesh-coloured palette and finally she painted thousands of stripes over the whole object, creating a trembling decorative pattern.
