Drawings Florence Hasard

Drawings

This collection of drawings was found amongst Florence Hasard’s belongings. Research shows that she traded charcoal drawings for her  modelling sessions with a local artist in Milwaukee. It appears she used oil-colors to alter them to the state we see them now.

The psychologist on our team suggests that she was haunted by her past experience as a nurse during WWI, which lead her to focus on the fragility and ephemerality of the human body.
